We all know that crowd funding is one of a select number of routes to securing finance for sports and commercial projects. It seemed a logical extension to the activities of our businesses, both ACROBAT Consulting & Marketing LTD and FC Sports Marketing LTD, that we should offer a suitable platform to help clients and interested parties to try and achieve their targets.
Crowdscrum evolved from a conceptualisation that we sought to create, whereby we represent campaigns where a ground swell of support would pursue a particular appeal – a ‘crowd’; and that momentum would gather pace from a concerted push towards the overall figure necessary to fulfil the ambitions of any project, the ‘scrum’. So the concept is easy to grasp, and a rugby or sports theme seemed the perfect match.
There are a myriad of crowd funding websites on the worldwide web, both in the UK and overseas. As with our two businesses we expect that our core clientele will be the United Kingdom and Turkey. We have purposefully created the platform to link to our other work. Of course, crowdfunding is not the panacea for all challenges, where the work of our consultancy team may be more suited. We will advise on any applications in the interests of giving best advice and maximising returns.
Crowdscrum evolved from our Director, Adrian Stores, being invited in late to some campaigns and identifying the pitfalls and vulnerabilities. He then proactively launched crowdfunding on other available websites but never quite found the right level of flexibility, communication nor interface that he felt necessary to build stories of success. In his last campaign before launching this portal, he achieved 112% of target for a project. Crowdscrum is purposefully a user friendly integrated fundraising platform that has the attributes for achieving goals backed up by added value advice from our team at critical stages and milestones during the scheduled activity.
