Little Harvey Ridings is not so little these days.  Despite his stature he has been making massive strides in the competitive World of Wrestling.

Harvey will be traveling abroad more frequently hence he is looking for generous sponsors that also share his dream.  His commitment is unfailing.  Just at the age of 12, he has already been British Champion many times in his weight group and the same amount of times English, Scottish, Irish and Welsh Champion also.  Add to this medal haul, a silver at the Jelgava open in Riga Latvia last year competing against athletes from Estonia, Russia, Lithuania and Latvia, definitely Croudscrum
says rightly: “One to look out for!

Harvey is the youngest member of the GB squad (the normal selection age starts is 14!).  The National Coach has indicated interest in Harvey's potential and will no doubt be encouraging more international competition and training experience for him this year and in future years. It is these opportunities which will allow Harvey to develop to his full potential, but such intensity and dedication comes at a price.

Much progress is attributable to the care, support and funding off his Mother and Father.

There is now a case and expectation that this young boy will be asked to compete abroad this year.  Expenses include the costs for flights, accommodation, meals and any sport clothing/boots replacements etc. Additionally, Nationally Harvey will travel to approximately 10 competitions held all around the Country and Ireland. At least, half of these competitions need an overnight stay in a hotel, so that enough rest following travel is had or so that a weigh-in can take place the night before. Harvey trains an awful lot and goes through quite a bit of sports clothing , trainers and wrestling boots therefore assistance towards the aforementioned expenditure, clothing/singlets for competitions is also a big help. Furthermore, he does regular distance runs   and  trains at different venues where clothing is visible to the public in Wigan, Bolton,  and at events Nationally.  Add to this, fuel costs and meals and the need for this crowdfunding appeal can be understood.

Please help Harvey Ridings continue to flourish and share his achievements on a global stage. He says he wants to be World Champion one day and an Olympic legend.
